After finishing his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Kenneth D. Nahum undertook postgraduate training at John F. Kennedy Hospital, Presbyterian University of Pennsylvania Medical Center, and Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He started practicing hematology and oncology in 1988 and has since cared for thousands with cancer and blood disorders. As a result of outstanding medical service, Kenneth D. Nahum has been voted “Top Doc” six times by New Jersey Monthly Magazine.

New Jersey Monthly Magazine has published an annual list of the state’s top doctors for more than 10 years. Doctors in the state determine who is named to the highly regarded list.
The magazine hires an independent research firm to conduct a survey of more than 24,000 New Jersey-based physicians who have been licensed to practice in the state for at least five years. While only a fraction of the invited respondents turn in votes, this still includes thousands of doctors.
The returned surveys are then counter-checked to ensure no duplicate votes have been made. All votes are tallied and doctors whose names appear a sufficient number of times are included in a preliminary list. This list is further filtered down to ensure no doctor with discipline cases makes it through. The list is then submitted to a panel of 24 doctors who review the nominees and assemble the final list.
